Rector Amy Haynie

The Reverend Amy Haynie, Mother Amy, joined the congregation of St Nicholas' in Midland  November 1, 2022 as the new rector. Amy was ordained in 2011 after graduating with a Master's of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Amy moved to Midland with her spouse, David, with their greyhound. 

 

 

 

 

 

Deacon Tom Burns

 

 

 

 

Deacon Tom Burns was ordained to the Diaconate in 2002 and has served at St. Nicholas’ since 2005. He received a B.S. in social welfare with a minor in anthropology from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee in 1982. He and his wife, Gwen, were married in 1988. From 1989 to 2008, Tom worked at Big Spring State Hospital as a psychiatric social worker. He was an Education for Ministry Mentor for 9 years. Deacon Tom currently works in an Outreach capacity at St. Nicks with primary interest in food pantries and the elderly in our community.
